Welcome to Nova Scotia

As far as tourist information centres go, the one in Amherst, Nova Scotia along the TransCanada highway is certainly one of the finest I have ever seen.
The centre is huge and beautifully designed. The lay out is very spacious and set up in such a way as to direct you to the section of Nova Scotia that you are most interested in. The staff are extremely helpful, friendly and knowledgeable of the Province they call home.
When you enter, you are greeted by a wonderful bagpipe player who performs for all the visitors.

Nova Scotia - Canada's ocean Playground

Welcome to my blog.  I would like to welcome you to the world of the Nova Scotia Traveler.

I have started this blog as a way to share my love and passion for Canada's most beautiful province.

I will be sharing my experiences, adventures, memories, and more of my many visits to Nova Scotia.
I will be writing articles on food, culture, adventures, scenery, shopping, hotels, events, and the goings on all around Nova Scotia.

My goal is to have the Economic and Rural Development and Tourism Department of the Government of Nova Scotia pick up on this blog, see the good work that I am doing for the province to promote tourism to all parts of this great province. Please come back and visit us often.

I believe Nova Scotia to be the most amazing place in Canada - and I want to share it with the world.
My goal is to boost tourism to Nova Scotia, and to draw attention to all that Nova Scotia has to offer.

Come back often....and plan your trip to Nova Scotia.

Tourism operators, hotels, bed & Breakfasts, and restaurants, tell us about your business and I will promote through Social Media.
