International Museum Day

May 18th, 2017 is International Museum Day.

Every year, on May 18th, we celebrate International Museum Day. This is a day which celebrates the many great museums, and galleries around the world, dedicated to preserving, displaying, and curating culture, arts, and History.
On this special day, many museums offer free admission to all visitors.
This is a great opportunity for you to discover, and explore some of the great artifacts, and cultural antiquities with the family without breaking the bank.

In Nova Scotia, we have a vast wealth of Museums that will be participating in International Museum Day.

At Nova Scotia Traveller, we have visited many of the museums across the province, and we encourage all visitors to Nova Scotia, and locals to get out and visit these amazing institutions.
