Canada is a beautiful country, with so much to see, do, explore, and discover. Each Canadian province has it's own beauty, and wonder and worth a visit, and what a better excuse to get out and discover this great nation, than by exploring the many great national parks, and historic sites that we have to offer.

Nova Scotia has 3 beautiful national parks:

Cape Breton Highlands National Park, is one of the most well known, and photographed places in Canada. Drive the Cabot Trail - one of the world's most beautiful drives, stop at the many great fishing villages along the route, take a hike through the highlands, enjoy a bike ride, and enjoy the most amazing scenery.

Do you love Horses?  Sable Island National Park Reserve is the place for you. There are many animals on this beautiful island off the coast of Nova Scotia mainland, but the most famous are the wold horses of Sable Island, who run free across the island. The history of Sable Island is long, and there are many shipwrecks around the island.

Camping and kayaking are just a couple of the great activities to enjoy when you visit Kejimkujik National park ad National historic site. Located in the centre of the mainland of Nova Scotia, it is easily accessible from Digby, Halifax, and Yarmouth. If you are visiting Nova Scotia, you can make this a daytrip, or spend some time camping. Be sure to look out for wildlife.

Other historic Sites in Nova Scotia that you can visit Free of Charge with your #DiscoveryPass, are:
